I'm staying home. Last place on earth I'd want to be is in those stores. That's what internet shopping is for.
Just FYI, anyone who plans to buy electronics at Walmart should know that the items that WM sells are NOT the same thing as what you get in other, "non-discount" stores, even if it's by the same brand. Walmart has contracts with the electronics companies that entail the companies making items for Walmart to sell at super-cheap prices, and that usually involves lower quality. The companies do it because they know that Walmart will sell tons of their merchandise, so it makes sense for them, but the tradeoff is that they have to keep cost below a certain level. My husband used to work at Walmart and he said that a lot of people don't realize that--they think they're getting the same thing for a cheaper price, but they're actually getting a lower-quality item.
As for us, we'll be sticking with spending Thanksgiving with our family and friends. There is nothing about Black Friday shopping that appeals to me.
They have the other new kids tablet, name fails me, the 2 version for $69 with a skin right now! I have it on layaway
I wouldn't be caught dead out on Black Friday. I don't care what deal they are offering.
