News about the victims of Hurricane Sandy may be dying down, but make no mistake -- people up and down the east coast are still suffering, and many will continue to need help for months to come.
We wanted to give you an inside look at what it's like right now in New York and the surrounding area, so we asked four CafeMom staffers to join us for a Google Hangout.
See what they had to say about Sandy after the jump.
In this Google Hangout, Adriana Velez reports on the situation in Brooklyn, Ericka Souter tells us what things are/were like in lower Manhattan, Yuliana Gomez covers her New Jersey neighborhood, and Stefanie Favicchio has details on the devastation in Long Island. As of the time that we taped this Hangout, Stefanie STILL did not have power!
These ladies also have great ideas on what's needed in the area and how you can help. Check out the video, then tell us in the comments if you were impacted by Hurricane Sandy, and what your situation is now.
