It isn't every day that a horrific kidnapping story ends on a good note, but today? Today we have one of those stories. A 17-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped in Germany recently on her way home from a club. Allegedly, the suspect, a 28-year-old man with a previous rape conviction, kidnapped the girl at knife-point on Friday night, and then took her to his apartment, where he supposedly beat her up, tied her up, and raped her.
So far pretty horrible, right? But wait. After three days, the girl escaped -- and you'll never guess how.
According to police chief Thomas Laum, the suspect left his apartment on Tuesday afternoon, and the girl somehow managed to free herself and escape through a first-floor window. Damn, right? That's like something out of a movie! Bad. Ass.
Thank god this girl had the smarts -- and the courage -- to free herself and make it out of this psychopath's apartment undetected. I don't think just anybody could do that. And let's be real here: I seriously doubt this horrific ordeal was going to end well if she didn't escape. I'm actually going to venture to guess that the suspect would have killed her. Thankfully, the man was arrested.
So, three cheers for totally terrible, completely awful, positively horrifying stories that end well. This is one brave club-goer.
What do you think of this?

Thank God. I am very happy she escaped. She is very lucky.
But I'm glad she got away. Too bad she called the cops and not a knife-wielding male relative. Or she could have gone all Hard Candy on his ass, to see how he likes THAT. Serial rapists need to suffer and die.
she was very brave to try to escape while he was gone... she didn't know how long he'd be gone or if she'd just piss him off more or if he was hanging around outside to test her or whatever.........
and going out a window isn't easy...........
Thank God she escaped. But my question is, what is a 17 year old girl doing going to a club? And then walking home alone?
I think the brave leap of faith was her escaping. I don't think the writer was being literal, also for her to escape not knowing what this animal was doing or what he was capable of was very brave. Thank God she escaped and this predator is behind bars! Hopefully he will get a taste of what it is like to be raped while he is in jail.
