Barack Obama Is a Communist, Uh, Whatever That Is (VIDEO)

Say What!? 78

woman at vp debateThis is a free country and everyone is entitled to her own opinion. What gets irksome though is when that opinion is based on ...  nothing. More than annoying, it's dangerous. In a big presidential election, like the one coming up on November 6, it can lead people to vote against their own best interests. Because they don't get it. They spout rhetoric they hear from their favorite news channel or a friend or family member -- without even knowing what it means.

Here's a classic example of a woman who has absolutely no idea what she's talking about when it comes to politics, Barack Obama -- and communism specifically. She was interviewed by Chris Matthews of Hardball outside the Vice Presidential Debate.

More from The Stir: Unedited Version of Obama-Romney Debate Will Make You Choke on Your Lunch (VIDEO)

If that wasn't so scary, it would be funny. (You know it would be, buddy!)

Her explanation of why Barack Obama is a communist:

"Study it out!"

"You haven't done your homework, buddy!"

"He's a communist and those of us who aren't voting for him know it."

"You don't know? You don't know? Oh, you know what I mean."

"He's a communist, buddy."

That's this woman's line -- "Barack Obama is a communist." She clearly has no idea what it means or what a communist is. She just doesn't know. She can't support her statement -- not with incorrect facts, not in the least. Maybe she should take her own advice and "study it out" -- read something, change the news channel, get the facts, and make an informed decision ... whatever that decision may be.

Does it scare you that people like this are going to the polls?

2012 election, barack obama

Reeeeeeeeeeeaching so far. I'm so glad there's nothing else to criticize Romney for, other than some random person on the street being interviewed. Maybe she was nervous?

I'll never, ever understand why reporters stop random people on the street. I want the news, the NEWS, not what some crazy lady's opinion is. If I wanted that, I'd just talk to my neighbors. What Betty-walking-her-dog thinks is NOT NEWS.

I know mensamamma this is so sad.  I mean I see embarrassing video's of Obama supporters on right leaning sites all the time and they are way more embarrassing than this lady.  But in the end who cares? Like this blog or what this lady said is going to change any one's mind of who they are voting for.

Yes. Uninformed people that get their opinions from other peoples opinions and not facts will be voting. And those that have no idea how the government, in general, works.

What's funny is the fact that you took this as a criticism of Romney when he wasn't even mentioned. No mention of Republican, Romney, Ryan, Right wing.... Nothing.

Agreed mensamamma and wamom. Although not going to change anyone's mind, some of these type of videos are down tight comic relief. Lol

Just as funny as the that crazy old bat who stood up at the Mccain rally and said "We can't trust Obama, he's an Arab"!!!!!!

Seriously so funny. And its also entertaining to hear the trolls on here say its reaching.... Um.... THIS. REALLY. HAPPENED!!... No photoshop or editing or taking things completely out of context.. we leave that for you republicans:)

And honestly, this was just entertaining for everyone and had nothing to do with Romney bashing.. we have more relevant issues to call him out on!

How does one "study it out"?

I think that he's really more of a socialist, in that he believes that there is a finite amount of wealth to go around and that wealth should be redistributed to those who did not earn it in a higher proportion than the progressive tax system already does.

I make it a point to slap a communist every day. And give a super wedgy to any socialist I see. They're both easy to identify. They're usually wearing Birkenstocks or driving a Subaru Forester or not eating meat. Not in my country! And learn to speak English while you're at it... this is Amurrrrrica!

This country is full of absolutely stunning lunatics.

Just went to a rally last week in Cuyahoga Falls, and the few Obama supporters were trying to stir up people by yelling things at Romney. There are people on both sides that get caught up in these childess acts. Politics is all about being a bully. People are watching tv and the behavior there, so they think it's ok to go out and bully others. I think this lady didn't know what she was talking about, and just got caught up in the political hype. I feel sorry for the people who do not study the person before speaking.
