45-year-old Alan Dale Lee is one criminal I can't help feeling sorry for -- if only because I know how prohibitively expensive dental care can be! Lee is one of the most memorable law-breakers in Florida, as far as cops are concerned, but not because he keeps getting arrested for the same things (including aggravated assault, possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia). To the police, Mr. Lee is more than just a criminal, he's 'Dracula' -- yes, on account of the teeth. Awww.
I mean, aggravated assault is not a very nice thing, I get that. But with a smile like his, how many career options did this guy really have in life? (Brush and floss, kids, BRUSH AND FLOSS.) That said, some marked-for-life law-breakers make themselves all crazy-looking on purpose. These are faces you never forget ...

Making fun of ones appearance is just downright mean...
That's what I meant :)
This is probably how children learn to bully other children -from their bullying parents...
Know what blh? Sometimes folks with bad teeth ARE on drugs. And sometimes they aren't. Sometimes folks with bad teeth are just folks who had to choose between the rent and the dentist. Guess who won? A close friend of mine, for instance, had some shoddy dental work done. When the caps fell off he couldn't afford to get them fixed (no dental insurance, self-employed). Over time, the exposed, enamel-less teeth started to rot. When they did, the teeth next to them did too. Add a couple of years' time and he had a hefty dental bill on his hands. He was so self conscious of his smile because people judged him as on drugs or just trashy (ahem, blh) that he never smiled and didn't talk much to folks he didn't know. Now he's been able to get his smile fixed and he's much happier. Moral of the story: don't judge! You have no idea what the circumstances are and you can really hurt peoples' feelings.
