Navy Hero Who Lost His Limbs Dances With His Girlfriend -- Get Ready to Weep (VIDEO)

by Nicole Fabian-Weber on September 18, 2012 at 4:27 PM

soldierHere is, hands down, the most touching, wonderful, amazing thing you will see all day (probably all week): A video of a quadruple amputee, who lost all of his limbs while serving our country in Afghanistan, dancing with his girlfriend at a friend's wedding.

Seriously, if this doesn't make your heart swell with pride and your eyes fill with tears, nothing will.

Before I get to the video, a little background information on this adorable couple. Taylor Morris, 23, is a Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal tech from Iowa who was severely injured after he stepped on an IED. He lost both of his legs, his left arm from the bicep down, and his right hand. He's currently still recovering at Walter Reed, but he and his girlfriend Danielle Kelly returned to Iowa a few weeks ago -- coincidentally on the five-month anniversary of his accident -- to attend the wedding of their close friends. And there they danced.

Check it out:

Wow. I've watched this video three times now, and each time is just as profound as the last. Morris truly is a hero to our country -- and a pretty great dancer to boot.

How amazing is this?

As the wife of a Marine who lost a leg to an IED, I know how special this moment was for them. You never know how much the little things matter until they're almost taken from you. Beautiful video and so proud of our heroes! :)

I have nothing but admiration for anyone in the service. I have had multiple family members that have served active duty, thankfully they came home uninjured. God bless him and his family for their incredible sacrifice to our country. I didn't even need to watch the video before I started tearing up! This is such a beautiful moment for this young man and his girlfriend, something that most of us would take for granted.

Yep, this brought tears to my eyes.  What a beautiful couple.  So glad to see her happy and accepting of her man as the hero he is.  I salute them both!

Nicole, my gratitude and admiration for you and your husband have no limits. Thank you for your love and support for your husband. While I have no idea how heavy you burden can be, I know that it is women like you who make what our men do possible.
Taylor and Danielle are truly inspiring. Thank you for reminding me how much I have to be thankful for. I'm especially thankful for honorable and courageous men like Taylor and the women who love them.

@Luke: Anyone who fights for this country is a hero. You made yourself sound like an ungrateful jerk.
