Take note frequent fliers: weather and mechanical problems aren't the only thing that will get you grounded these days. One passenger says she was detained by the Transportation Security Administration because of her "bad attitude."
She says the TSA agent wanted to make her pay for being rude to him and he didn't even deny it. He actually admits to that unfair treatment and she captures the unbelievable exchange on her cameraphone.
Along with the 22-second video, uploaded under the name "AirportVideoofTSA," the woman writes:
I was not allowed to board a plane (even though I had already been through airport security) because I drank my water instead of letting the TSA “test” it. The TSA agent finally admitted that it wasn’t because they thought I was a security risk-it was because the TSA agent, Louis Godeaux, was mad at me!
Honestly, with all the headaches involved with flying these days, I don't know anyone who doesn't have a bad attitude at the airport. If that is the new standard for TSA, they must be delaying hundreds if not thousands of people a day.
Being a bitch or bitchy does not give them the right to make you miss your flight. Some of these agents clearly are on a power trip. That’s why I smile no matter how annoying the screening process is. I remember traveling with my 6-month-old and them making me take off his Robeez to be inspected. Totally ridic, right? Yet some guy with a bomb in his underpants gets by. What kind of sense does that make?
