Mailman Accused of Sexually Assaulting Kids in His Postal Truck (VIDEO)

Twisted 10

postman frank saucierWhile the country is cringing at the Jerry Sandusky trial, the people of Manchester, New Hampshire may have another monster in their midst. A former mailman there named Frank Saucier is currently facing a criminal trial after being accused of sexually assaulting children in his postal truck.

According to investigators, between September 2011 and February 2012, Saucier let several children "play house" inside the vehicle. In these games, Saucier would play the "dad" and sometimes pretend to be driving the parked vehicle. He is also accused of spanking a 10-year-old boy on one of those occasions.

Once neighborhood parents became suspicious, they contacted the police, and the 43-year-old was removed from the mail route and has since been indicted on more than 10 charges alleging he sexually assaulted three children, aged 7 to 10, inside the vehicle. Uggghh ... Just relaying this makes my skin crawl!

I realize we don't live in 1955 and we can't expect neighborhoods to look like something out of Pleasantville or a Norman Rockwell painting, but has it really come to this? Do we really need to be freaking out that our children are going to be assaulted by a neighborhood postal worker? Someone who we allow onto our front stoops and inside our apartment buildings without question? Someone the government hires who we're supposed to trust?

Stories like this one make it seem like we now have to question everyone. Anyone who walks by us on the street, even in what you would think of as a safe neighborhood, could be a potential predator. It's enough to make your stomach turn. The only silver lining here is that parents did contact the authorities, and Saucier now faces trial.

All in all, though, what a complete nightmare. All we can hope is that justice is served, and the USPS starts doing a better job screening employees, so families like those in Manchester don't have to live in fear.

Does this story make you feel like you should question whether every single person might be a predator?

Man, where were the parents when these kids were INSIDE this man's postal truck? Seriously!

I don't trust a mailman just because he's a mailman. He's still a stranger. They switch up often so I don't bother getting to know every single one of them on a personal level. I still don't understand why parents leave their kids completely alone outside & out of sight. They could have been kidnapped too, no one would have known.

THIS is the reason i dont let my kid play outside where i either cant see him! that is THE #1 RULE in our household. i HAVE to be able to see you play outside or you cant play. my son is VERY good with that and he knows that i check outside every 10-15 minutes to see where he is (it hells that i live RIGHT in front of the playground)..... but still this story is HORRIBLE!

how can anyone not see him allowing children into the truck, here we are not allowed to even check our mail or approach it while the mail carrier is there. My children are closely monitored inside as well as outside, so the next person who tells me to give them more freedom will get stuff like this posted all over there wall.My daughter's will thank me when they are older, I talk to them all the time about this and show them videos because you can not trust anyone.I make no exceptions for any mail carrier now I see why.....Those poor kids

YES we have to be suspect of every one who walks by. No one gets a free pass because sex offenders are most often people that the family already knows, loves and trusts. Do NOT let anyone take your children off alone and be vigilant about what your kid is doing.  Pay attention to their reactions to people and don't force them to be around people they say make them uncomfortable. Kids have great intuition.

Really!? Really!? Ugh! I'm so tired of hearing about this crap. Priests, ftball coach, middle school principle, pediatricians and now this. These are the people that we should be able to trust our children with. I have three children all 6 and younger and the world is already going to crap.

This sickens me!  What has this world come to!?  Those poor kids!  Parents out there, u need to make sure that u teach ur kids the basic stuff about strangers.....my son who is 9 yrs old now, was taught about strangers since he was 3 yrs old.  It's ok to scare them about starngers cause they should be.  However, that man needs to never be able to around kids and for sure need to face harsh consequences.

"Sure, you can go play in the mailman's truck. It's perfectly fine that you're out here unsupervised, and it's not the least bit suspicious that you'd even want to play with the mailman. Nor is it at all strange that he has that kind of time on his hands. Sounds fine to me, kids." Where we live, anything you leave unattended in your yard gets stolen, even your children.

How brain damaged is this to not put a hefty portion of blame on the parents not knowing where their kids are playing??
