It's hard to imagine what the Russian fisherman was thinking when he stumbled on some strange plastic barrels in the middle of the forest in the Ural Mountains recently. Inside the barrels? Human fetuses, 248 of them all tagged with family names.
It almost sounds too sick and twisted to be true, but sadly, that is exactly what happened. The poor man went to the woods to get some firewood, and instead he found hundreds of fetuses. And now for the part of this horror story that will make you forever fear going to a hospital.
Investigators say they think these fetuses actually came FROM medical facilities. No doubt with the help of those family names, the fetuses have been tied to hospitals in Yekaterinburg. And they're putting the blame on a bio-medical waste company for falling down on the job.
Now let's just think about this for a moment, people. You go into the hospital, and you're at their mercy. We all just take it on blind faith that whatever happens after we leave, they'll treat whatever came out of us with the utmost respect.
Hospitals and bio-medical waste companies have to be held to a higher standard precisely because of what they deal with: humans.
We aren't talking someone's old refrigerator that wasn't dumped on the roadside instead of being taken to the proper landfill. Heck, we aren't talking just any medical "waste." This isn't a used syringe. These were human fetuses. Nearly 250 of them!
If they could screw up something his important that badly, it makes me wonder what else is being screwed up. And heads had better roll.

Anyone who willfully kills(or makes the "choice" for someone else to kill) their unborn child is not going to care about what happens to the remains. Why would they? They obviously didn't see the importance of what they had while he or she(the fetus) was living.
But in cases of miscarriage and still born situations, the parents hopefully find justice.
Aborted babies in Russia, begs the question WHY? Were they victims of high radiation, such as Depleted Uranium, as from war or radiation fron nuclear power stations.
Why exactly are people assuming all these fetuses were the product of abortion? Does it say that anywhere?? Oh wait, no, it doesn't. Since this is Russia, and I don't know their laws and know very little about that country, I don't really know what I think should happen to these people.
@Banana-Bear... Your comment is very uncalled for. Yes some women have abortions. That is a personal choice. I was held down and raped for hours. Every time I resisted I was beaten and raped again. I did become pregnant from this act and there was so way I could bear a child from it. Use your words wisely. I had an abortion before it was considered a fetus. I did not kill a baby! I have to live the rest of my life where I can not physically be in a room with a man and not have a panic attack. I even flinch when My adult children who are boys get close to me. Try living like that!
On the other hand I can not imagine any thing like that happening in the USA. We have laws and strict medical codes of conduct. I pray for not only the families whom thought their sweet babies were taken care of, I also pray for the medical professionals who could do such an act, And lastly I pray for people who can not see past their views and voice their opinions to quickly.

So true Banana! However, like previously stated very well could have been miscarriages or stillbirths. In which case they could've always taken them to bury them properly. I never trust hospitals.
