It is no secret that I loathe Mitt Romney. I think his campaign is fueled by hubris. He is disingenuous and crooked. Romney cares more about his cronies than the American people. He has no sense of what it is to be a working American and does not value the so called 99 percent. He is hopelessly out of touch. Romney has made disparaging comments about many segments of our population and continues to plaster on his Ken doll grin and coif his ever-so-perfect mane and stand on stage after stage berating Barack Obama. It seems all he can do is say “Obama sucks!” without filling in anything compelling, original, or productive. Sounds like a weak campaign strategy to me. And for the record, I do not begrudge the man his financial success. What he has in dollars he lacks in empathy and ethos. Mitt Romney needs to face up to his shortcomings and choose a running mate who will more than compensate for his dire lack of perspective.
So who will it be? Campaign advisors are tirelessly vetting a slew of Republican party darlings.
A woman?
A Latino?
An African American?
Or another Bain-esque crony?
Senator Marco Rubio might be his closest bet, but I have a hunch Mr. Rubio has his own political aspirations and won’t risk being tarnished by the bane of Mitt Romney. He is a rising star with a new book to promote. His appeal for Romney are his immigrant heritage, religious fervor, and Tea Party leanings. Rubio presents a more charismatic "American Dream" package to counter Romney's privileged prep school persona. I can’t begin to make a vice presidential prediction, but I can tell you that the vetting process requires the potential candidates to disclose more than Romney himself has.

It is no secret that I loathe Obama!
He has no sense of what it is to be a working American and does not value the so called 99 percent.
Really? He has built a career - he has worked for a living - which is more than anyone can say about Obama who has accomplished absolutely nothing in his life. He went to an Ivy league school, got crappy grades (otherwise we'd see the transcript), became a community organizer, was handed a state Senate seat, was handed a US Senate seat, then was corronated President. HE has no sense of what it is to be a working American.
Obama DOES SUCK. He is ruining this country - and how ironic that black people are worse off than ever under this first half-black President.
I can tell you that the vetting process requires the potential candidates to disclose more than Romney himself has.
Vetting? Nobody gave a damn about vetting Obama - they still don't. You know more about Romney than you will ever be able to find out about Obama.
Time to face it - Obama is a rotten President. This is what happens when you vote for someone based on the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.
LMAO...this article is COMPLETELY pointless. Romney could pick a SAINT and you still wouldnt vote for him.....so it's really a rather moot point for you.
Obama WASTED $3.8 trillion trying to stimulate the economy, which failed. He has put us into debt faster and greater than any other president in history.
If you gave birth today, your baby is born already $50,700 in debt to the government, thanks to Obama. Just the interest on our debt is $4 billion every. single. day.
Obama himself said if he couldn't get the job done in four years, he shouldn't be re-elected. Well Obama... if you insist.
WE CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER FOUR YEARS!!!
Best line of the piece:
...won’t risk being tarnished by the bane of Mitt Romney.
Did you do that on purpose, because that was AWESOME. I think Marco knows better than to buy a ticket to the Titanic, knowing ahead of time that it's going to sink. Are the Republicans even going to vote for Mitt at the convention next month? Even they want to see what's in his tax returns, there's been so many of them publically calling him out for not releasing them...it was revealed recently that a full quarter of Republicans can't even stand the man. But I guess with the party line being "anybody but Obama" this was the best they could do. BIG FAT FAIL.
I agree Procrastamom, I love it when liberals bring up Bain. The fact that a mistaken connection between Romney and his former company is the WORST the liberals can dig up on him, only makes him look better.
Cm and their idiot bloggers SUCK !
