Barack Obama’s reelection campaign recently went after Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s stance on women’s health issues, because the candidate supports an end to federal funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s number one abortion provider.
Funny, what liberals call a War on Women; conservatives call a War on Fetuses.
Let me say it one more time, because I don’t think it’s getting through: No one is denying any woman over the age of eighteen birth control. Republicans just think you or your fellow should pay for it yourselves. Reminder: You can get contraceptives for as little as $9 at Target or Wal-Mart. If you can’t afford that, you can’t afford to have sex.
Now that we’ve established that Republicans are not waging a War on Women, just a War Against Forcing Other People to Pay for Your Stuff, let’s talk about how President Obama’s economy has disproportionately affected women versus their male counterparts.
American Crossroads released a video on Wednesday detailing the heartbreaking economic hardships that women in particular have suffered under President Obama.
There are now seventeen million women in poverty -- 800,000 more than when George Bush left office. Of those, 7.5 million women are in extreme poverty. Almost half of female-headed homes live in poverty, and minorities have been hit especially hard, with 25% of Hispanic women living below the poverty line.
What happened to the hope and change? Not only are more women living in poverty than four years ago; they can’t get jobs. Under Obama’s economy, men are gaining four times as many jobs as women. Forget the glass ceiling – just show us the welcome mat!
It doesn’t matter how much Democrats vote in favor of phony “fair pay acts,” when their economic policies hurt millions of women across the country. Maybe congressional liberals could put their money where their mouth is: They pay their female staffers significantly less than the males.
President Obama claims there is a War on Women … but who’s leading the charge? The White House pays men an average of $10,000, or 13 percent, more than women, by the way.

When you think that you have to rely on the government for big things like paying for your choice to have an abortion you're becoming the dependent cattle they want you to be.
Maybe the feds should fund serial killers too, since they can't seem to control themselves either. Let them fund anything and everything for people who can't control themselves in any way...........good call
You guys on the Right are such annoying parrots. Obama did it! Squawk! Obama did it!
1) Jenny writes an article and posts it.
2) Liberal drones skim through it, then post the SAME COMMENT over and over in this form...
"Jenny, your such a (insert insulting name). You conservatives are all (idiots, retards, stupid). Stop watching FOX news and believing everything they tell you.
How much thought is really required for that? This sums up the liberal mindset. Regurgitating what your party tells you to be mad about before you've even thought it through.
It's awesome that women are getting screenings for "free"...but here's the newsflash, it's not free. Someone has to pay for it, and that someone right now is China. Your "free" services (and abortions) are going on a giant credit card from China that our CHILDREN will have to pay off. If you can't pay it now, how much harder will our children have to work to pay it off. It's NOT EFFING FREE PEOPLE!!!!
Someone has to be the grown-up here and stop the bleeding. Mitt Romney has the brains and the kahunas to say....guess what KIDS, we can't keep spending money we don't have!!!
