It's almost a sweet story. You may remember that Casey Anthony and her mother, Cindy, reconciled about a year ago. She continued defending Casey even after the trial. And recently Cindy sent her daughter a sentimental gift: A necklace with Caylee's ashes.
WHAT?!? OMG HOLY HELL WHYWHYWHY
Okay, let's try that again, but this time I'll be a little more mature about it: Cindy sent Casey a necklace containing Caylee's ashes. A source tells People Cindy wears an identical necklace and that "Casey told me it was the way the Anthony women would be together forever." (ZOIKS! Hyperventilating.) Nope, still totally freaked out by this news.
I know, I know -- Casey had her day in court. Actually, she had her many, many days in court. And she was found not guilty. And it's time for us to all move on.
But it's still super creepy. And the sad thing is, on just about any other bereaved mom, it would be understandable. It's just one more way to keep your child close to you after their passing. Maybe it's a little macabre, but it's sweet, too. But with Casey it will just be a daily reminder of ... can I even finish that sentence? Even if you believe Casey wasn't in any way responsible for her daughter's death, those ashes are a symbol of the whole torrid experience, the trial and everything.
For a mother who actually did kill her daughter, that necklace would be a tortuous reminder of your horrible deeds. That is, unless the mother were in total denial about what she'd done. Either way, it's a strange detail to learn about the Anthony women. In one way or another, they will be together forever.
What do you think of Casey and Cindy's ashes necklaces?

Casey probably won't even wear it, or care remotely. We may not know EXACTLY what happened, but we know that she lied profusely. We also know that she CLEARLY preferred her child-free lifestyle of partying and not caring about anyone beside herself.
I can't believe that psycho got off on those charges. She clearly feels NO hurt or pain over caylee being gone, and I can't wait for her to have her judgement day before God. Lets see what her story is then.
The trail is over. If you dislike her do much, then stop talking about her.
I don't care who you are, I find the ashes thing creepy. My grandma-in-law wore her mother's ashes and when grandma died my mil was supposed to get it and put grandma's ashes in it. I have never asked if that is in fact what she did. I joke that I'll cremate my husband and have him turned into a diamond but in reality don't even want to cremate him, though that is in fact what he wants. I find cremation creepy by itself but wearing a dead person is just eeewwww!
