Possible Sandusky Cover-Up Means More Penn State Guys Need Jail Time

by Cynthia Dermody on June 30, 2012 at 11:41 AM

Jerry SanduskyJust when we thought we were done with Jerry Sandusky and he was finally headed off to a jail cell (and worse) for his crimes against kids, comes MORE disgusting news that makes me convinced this case will never, ever go away. We already know Penn State University officials downplayed what they thought Sandusky was doing in the shower with a young boy. Now we learn that not only did university officials appear to know exactly what was going on, they had several conversations where they tried to cover it up! All this is heresay, according to a report in CNN this morning, no arrests or official reports have been made. But the specifics of the email conversations CNN allegedly saw will definitely make you throw up:

Apparently Penn State President Graham Spanier and two other former university officials knew they had a problem with Sandusky, but wanted to try to handle the matter the "humane" way, without involving authorities. I'm sorry, but "humane way"? WTF does that mean? It means, let's do this in a way where our precious university reputation does not suffer, that's what it means.

These are some of highlights from the email conversations Penn State officials allegedly emailed back and forth, according to CNN:

-- In an exchange of messages from February 26-28, 2001, Spanier allegedly acknowledges Penn State could be "vulnerable" for not reporting the incident.

"The only downside for us is if the message (to Sandusky) isn't 'heard' and acted upon, and we then become vulnerable for not having reported it." -- Spanier.

-- Childen that Sandusky brought on campus are always referred to as "guests" in these emails.

-- In an alleged e-mail dated February 26, 2001, Gary Schultz, then vice president at the university, writes to former athletic director Tim Curley that he assumes Curley's "got the ball" about a three-part plan to "talk with the subject asap regarding the future appropriate use of the University facility," ... "contacting the chair of the charitable organization" and "contacting the Department of Welfare."

-- In the end Curley decides it's best not to talk to welfare services or any outside authorities, but to talk to Sandusky himself, tell him to seek help and not bring any more boys on campus. Then the emails continued ...

-- "This is a more humane and upfront way to handle this," Schultz said.

-- "The only downside for us is if the message (to Sandusky) isn't 'heard' and acted upon, and we then become vulnerable for not having reported it," Spanier purportedly wrote.

-- "But that can be assessed down the down the road. The approach you outline is humane and a reasonable way to proceed," he adds.

Un-effing-believable, is all I have to say. All those assaults that could have been avoided. All these men make me sick, and if all this is true, I hope they find their jail cells as comfortable as Sandusky does.

Does this latest information about the Penn State emails surprise you or did you totally see this from the get-go?

    The entire world will be exposed by grace and truth. The world media is pushing pride as culture, why? God hates Esau art thou (Genesis 33:15) and the Lord himself hates pride (Proverbs 21:4) *Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear;

Knew this was was coming!  Come on folks, this is just another "good 'ol boy" club, just like the Catholic Church.  The "good 'ol boys" take care of one another.  That is also why Sandusky and his wife will still receive $50,000+ for life.  Because in the Contract, it specifies all kinds of wrong-doing will stop payments - but nothing noted about sexual wrong-doing!  See, the "good 'ol boys" pretty much think they all might be subject to some kind of sexual wrong-doing so they made sure not to include that in the payment Contract.  This was just another sick group of misogynistic "good 'ol boys" protecting one another.  They didn't care about the kids or anyone else!

Don't think for one minute that this is "new".  This has been around forever.  Our current laws are now bringing it to light.  Not long ago, it was all kept in hiding.  Kids didn't even tell their parents things that happened.  So, be glad we are seeing it.  It is the only way it can be cleaned up!  Consequences, consequences, consequences, is the only way to stop the horrifying behavior.  It was hidden before!

The top brass at Penn State and Sandusky's wife all belong in jail. How can you sit by and let dozens (hundreds?) of little boys be raped and not do anything about it??? I hope Paterno is burning in hell right now.

Why am I thinking this is only the tip of a massive, Titanic-sinking iceberg?

Those poor poor kids with that rotten twisted SOB. Oh, and what about the school authorities that let Sandusky have his 'pick of the day' by taking these boys out of class whenever he got an urge. What about that other B#%$# that told a parent that she should 'think about what she's saying' because Jerry "has a heart of gold". I strongly believe in an EYE for an EYE and I think every MF'er involved should stand in front of the victims while the world takes their manhood/womanhood away from them!!! Oh and little Mrs. Sandusky, WE ALL KNOW she knew what the hell was going on, she should choke on a piece of KFC. Last but not least, Joe Pa got off easy didn't he??

I honestly believe they should lose their football program, and should have all wins/titles that they (Penn State football program) won from 2001 to 2011 taken from them.  JoPa's statute needs to be taken down also.

I knew there were more university officals that were involved.  It was just a matter of time before the whole truth came out!
