Samantha Brick Infuriates Ugly Women Everywhere -- Again!

by Kiri Blakeley on May 2, 2012 at 11:47 AM

Oh, that Samantha Brick! She sure knows how to stir up trouble -- and gain attention for herself. It wasn't long ago that Miss Brick was proclaiming that other women hated her because she was so beautiful -- a somewhat dubious claim considering that Samantha is no Megan Fox, but hey. What do I know? Women do hate on women sometimes, and maybe this happened to her. Or maybe she's just crazy as a loon mating on a lake during a full moon.

Now she's baaaaaack. And wait until you hear what she has to say this time ...

According to Samantha "Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful" Brick, there are women who are just too darned ugly to be on TV. Those women, she says, should get plastic surgery to correct their flaws so that the television viewing audience will be able to stand looking at them for any length of time.

Brick isn't saying anything particularly new or controversial or even untrue. Do you honestly think that women in broadcasting are not hired in great part on their looks? Puhleeeese. Of course they are. We all know this. But there is just something about the way Samantha blurts it out and defends it that makes everyone loathe her. I personally do not loathe her. She is clearly a woman who knows what she wants -- media attention -- and how to get it. I assume that if she doesn't have a book deal or her own TV show, or both, by now, she will have them momentarily.

Some of us may have wanted to (rightly) place some of the blame on The Daily Mail last time around. That perhaps the newspaper inflamed Samantha's comments and pushed a vulnerable writer into saying more than she intended. But like they say, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice ...

This time around, if Samantha faces a firestorm, she has no one to blame but herself.

Is Samantha Brick making a valid journalistic argument or just an attention ho?

She's an attention wh***. I thought maybe she's just one of those people that are pretty in person, but don't photograph well, you know. And then I saw her TV interview & well, she really isn't that pretty. Not the way she makes her self out to be & now I see that she's just as unattractive on the inside too.

Samantha Brick is unattractive, even by England's standards. Does anyone REALLY think that woman is beautiful? If she's beautiful, I'm a freaking super model.

From what I recall, I was one of Samantha's biggest backers on this site. And I recall becoming very irate at everyone picking on her looks, saying she had no right to feel so pretty.

Well you know what? That snot can kiss my ass.
Not that she knows or cares who I am.
But while you can be open and honest about women being less/more attractive than one another, it crosses a line to say ANY person is TOO UGLY to do anything, even be on tv.
That heinous bitch should take her ugly attitude off tv.

I'm not ugly, but I can't stand this woman. There is a HUGE double standard not only on tv but in politics as well. Men are allowed to LOOK LIKE old men and still be listened too. Women can only stay relevant as they age if they kill themselves to look young. I want to see more ugly, wrinkled, white-haired women on the floor of congress and on TV to balance out all the old men! It looks like a father-daughter dance up there! Crazy! And, after her latest comments, I think we can rule out "good self-esteem" for Miss Brick, she is obviously incredibly insecure!

So an average looking woman says something rude and we stand up and take notice...why?

Not sure who Samantha Brick is and don't really care. But good for her for being an excellent role model for young women everyone to be comfortable with who they are and their natural beauty. Seriously though, way to bully others through media Samantha. Well done.

Not again! I honestly didn't find her article all that offensive, just strange seeing as she isn't that attractive. Honestly, she looks OLD for her age! She could use some plastic surgery, pot meet kettle! She should not be saying anything when she has a face like that lol

Brick-brain needs understand that Graceful natural aging is NOT a flaw. I'd rather see the news delivered by a smart, modest middle-aged person, rather than the sloppiness some networks see as appealing.
