Parents Accused of Raping Their Teenage Babysitter (VIDEO)

OMG 73

An 18-year-old babysitter has accused a Georgia lawyer and his young wife of rape. The charges stem from an incident last December when the babysitter says Joseph Neal Jr, 43, and his 23-year-old wife plied her with marijuana and alcohol in an attempt to sexually assault her.

She managed to text with her boyfriend and asked for help. Now Neal has recently been suspended from practicing law in South Carolina after being indicted by a grand jury on a count of rape and on furnishing alcohol to a person under 21 in March. He pleaded not guilt and so did his ex-wife, Caroline Neal.

Still, this is insane. See the news story below:

Obviously people are innocent until proven guilty, but it does raise so many questions, especially given that the police had been at the house to settle a domestic dispute during which the wife hit and kicked her husband in front of his 13-year-old son.

But you have to worry about any children in this house.

If this isn't true, then his life is being destroyed by the accusation as he can no longer practice law. If this is true, then clearly this is not a man (or a woman) who should be anywhere near children.

After all, 18 is still a child, especially in our culture. If this happened and these two saw an 18-year-old as sexual, who is to say they wouldn't do the same to another child?

Couples who commit crimes together are romanticized in our culture; think Bonnie and Clyde or Mickey and Mallory. We all want that romantic, together until the end, kill all the rest kind of love. But in real life and practice, couples who commit crimes together are sick and co-dependent. It's icky and wrong, and if this couple is guilty, I hope they are locked up for good.

There is nothing good about people who could do something like this.

Does this story make you worry for your teen daughter?

Look, if they did this, its WRONG. No doubt.

But 18 yr olds are not children, and should not be viewed as such. To say that seeing an 18yr old as being a sexual being, is wrong.... that's just, well, completely stupid.

If you can be a stripper at 18, which I was, then its pretty obvious its now legal to look at that ass!

And I did say LOOK. Not try to drug up, so she puts out, and not to rape.

Agree with the4mutts as well.

I was with the author until she stated that an 18 year old is still a child. If you are not an adult by the time you are 18, then your parents did something wrong.

I am not saying that 18 year olds are most likely the most mature adult on the planet, surely they do still have a lot of growing up to do compared to a 30 year old.  But so does a 30 year old compared to a 50 year old. Thats life, and children have to become adults sometime, and by 18 they are more than old enough to be considered as such because they SHOULD be more than responsible enough to be able to hold themselves accountable for their own actions.

If it's a crime, then deem it as so and leave age almost completely out of it. The wife here is 23. She's a mere five years older than this victim. I'm six years older than My husband. Big deal. At 18, most folks are sexual beings. Against the will is the question here. I've had a 17 year old babysitter go on a date with her boyfriend of over a year after she left My house. I feel sure she was sexually active. If this couple used their authority and influence to gain advantage over the younger one, then criminal charges should follow. My mom MARRIED at 17!

Yea... If the story is true, then it is horrible regardless of age. But 18 year olds AREN'T children and many are very sexual. Its attitudes like that that perpetuate the whiny, dependent, immature nature that young adults have these days. Why wouldn't you want your 18 year old to act as an adult and be considered an adult? How selfish to try to coddle them and hang on to their childhood instead of allowing them the independence of adulthood.

I agree with the4mutts!! 18 years old is NOT a child. If thats the case, then why are the 18 year olds in the adult industry? They gave her liquor and weed? Who's to say the 18 year old didn't want to stay and party, and got drunk and high, had a 3 some with them, woke up the next morning and couldn't remember what happened??? She's young, and probably regretted it and freaked out and filed charges. Especially if she lives with her parents! Or.....who's to say the babysitter didn't get exactly what she wanted and then turned them in??? You never know! But I doubt it was rape..

There have never been any 18 year old children, and "culture" has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Adulthood and puberty are biological questions, and they never change.
This young woman had been past that point for many years.
If she can say that her employers "plied" her with alcohol, then everyone who has ever gone into a bar and later gone home with someone, is a "victim".

In fact, there are several women I had better sue for rape, right now.

And, the couple who hired this girl were probably intoxicated too, themselves... thus they were incapable of saying "yes" to the babysitter... and the babysitter raped them. Hopefully, she'll be imprisoned for her heinous crime.
