Sailor Surprises Adorable Grandma in Cutest Military Homecoming Yet (VIDEO)

by Nicole Fabian-Weber on March 28, 2012 at 11:32 AM

military homecomingWe're suckers for military homecoming videos here on The Stir. Kind of hard not to be. The joy, the excitement, the surprise -- there's no way to possibly be in a bad mood after watching one. But. Military homecoming videos do usually feature the same key players: The person in the military; the person in the military's significant other; the person in the military's kids; the person in the military's parents; and/or the person in the military's pet. You know what we rarely get to see? The person in the military's grandma.

Get out the tissues, friends. What you're about to witness is a military homecoming video of epic adorableness: A sailor named Ellis surprising his grandma on her 76th birthday. Check it out.

Love! Love the cute grandma's reaction, and love the way Ellis casually sneaks into the picture. Too cute. More military homecoming videos with grandmas please!

How cute is this?

I think she looks good and frankly, there are too many children obese! With the combination of littlle physical exercises, PE, few healthy meals at home and few parents being an example, its no wonder things are out of control. Me and my husband workout all the time, but we grew up doing the same. My family did not do the grocery store and I did not eat processed food until I went off to college. My dad was a professional game sportsman,so our meat was very fresh!

I've been able to keep my athletic form and size O and I and turning 50 this year! I am working on competing in the summer/ fall - that should be un!
The next show of the biggest loser should be interesting.

I usually do not like coming home videos, because it is just a hard reminder for me that we will not be able to welcome home our loved one who was KIA. This one is so cute and adorable it actually brought tears to my eyes from laughter this time. Thanks for sharing, yes I agree more Grandma homecoming videos please.
