Barack Obama Makes My Eyes Twitch

barack obamaAnd then there were four. In less than a month, we’ve seen the GOP presidential candidate pool cut nearly in half, as Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Jon Huntsman have all cut their losses and suspended their campaigns. Of the four left fighting campaigning, there are two clear frontrunners: Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

Who would have thought that the candidate that came in fourth in the Iowa caucuses would be leading the polls less than a month later? Strange but true: Gingrich is now leading Romney by quite a few percentage points.

Last week, I infamously said on The Hugh Hewitt Show that Newt makes my eye twitch, but the fact of the matter is that they all make my eye twitch. Hello, they’re politicians. Politicians, as a whole, aren’t exactly America’s favorite people at the moment.

Neither Newt nor Mitt makes my eye twitch quite as much as Barack Obama. However the primary plays out, I think we’re pretty much guaranteed a Republican victory in 2012. We’ve tried the hopey-changey thing, and it turns out that spreading the wealth around doesn’t fix a broken economy.

Barack Obama did inherit a downward economy from George W. Bush Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, but he’s had three years to fix it. Instead, he’s taken over one sixth of the economy with his massively unpopular Obamacare, put more people on food stamps than ever before, and generally made businesses terrified to hire new employees.

Of course none of the Republican candidates are perfect, because people aren’t perfect. The best president we could have realizes that, and governs accordingly. The President of the United States needs to understand that the people need to be given freedom to try things, succeed or fail, and pick themselves up by the bootstraps when necessary.

Barack Obama does not have faith in the American people to take care of themselves, which is condescending and belittling. Both Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney want Americans to be free to pursue their dreams, without crushing taxes should those dreams come true.

Wherever the GOP nomination lands at the end of this primary process, I will gladly vote for him on November 6. It’s better than the alternative.

Wow, we are in serious trouble if you all are so brainwashed and glamoured to think that obama is anything but the hypothetical antichrist, he is at war with anything that is right and good including jobs, freedom, right to protect ourselves and our families, women, babies, marriage, and religious freedoms, and the list goes on. If obama is elected for another term it will truly show how STUPID the american people have become in such a short amount of time, so I really hope you all can pull your heads out of obamas cloud of lies and see him for the hitler that he really is before it is too late to recover.

Wow!  It's obvious how many people don't understand the difference between Local and federal government.  Your state taxes take care of FD, PD & ED, and the feds shouldn't be anywhere near it!  I totally agree with you.  Obama is BAD BAD BAD for this country and business and we all need to get back to work.  Don't care who they put up against Obama (except Paul, but I'd even vote for him if that fantasy ever played out), I'll vote for who ever is up against him!

As if we needed more proof that Obama is doing well...

Gotta love the right-wing hissy fits when he does what you can't.

h/t AceofSpades:  Shock - Just as in 2008, obama will break his campaign promise

Remember when Obama promised he'd stick to the federal limits in campaign donations?

Yeah. And then remember when he realized he could get a lot more money by exceeding those limits and forgoing the federal matching funds?  And then broke his promise?

And like the media didn't even notice he was breaking a promise before he was even in office? In fact, the media portrayed it as a positive thing -- "Hey, look at how much money Obama can raise! When Democrats raise bucketfulls of money, that's a good thing!" Anyway, Obama had previously promised not to form a PAC.

Guess what he's decided now?  obama campaign throws support to Super PAC

Eye twitch?  How about involuntary convulsions?  The president is a liar.

And when obama's not campaigning, vacationing or playing golf, what does Dear Leader do all day?

This liberal columnist says he spends a few hours a day marking off check boxes on memos prepared by and given to him by staff.

Strenuous stuff! but it gives him a chance to exercise that world-class intellect that he and liberals say he possesses.

Double eye twitch.
