I didn't have a cfw but I can understand brides who do. I do not see anything wrong with it.

I did not have a child free wedding. There were 3 children in the wedding party...lol

I had at my first wedding kids there . And when I married my current hubby we snuck away with each other and no one was there but God and our witnesses

I had a CFW. We provided FREE childcare for our guests with children under 10 (for the ceremony) and there were no babies allowed at the reception. Luckily, the only person affected was my sister-in-law's 2 week old but he was obviously too young to care. A couple's wedding day is their day to shine. If they don't want kids at the wedding, that's their deal. Guests with children need to accept that for what it is and stop taking things so personally.
