With just days remaining before the Iowa caucuses, Republican presidential candidates have gone into high gear in a last-ditch effort to win over the state's Republican voters.
Having surged recently in Iowa polls (although the latest poll puts those numbers in question), Newt Gingrich is the headline-maker these days, and we know you want to know more about how his plans and policies would benefit you and your family if he were elected president.
That's why CafeMom is having a "Coffee Break" with moms, Newt Gingrich, and his wife Callista, at Java Joe's in Des Moines on Friday, December 30. It will be hosted by our election correspondent Lindsay Ferrier and pollster Frank Luntz. This is just the first in a series of "Coffee Breaks" we'll be doing with the Presidential candidates -- and it's being aired live on C-SPAN.
Tune in to C-SPAN on Friday, December 30, at 11 a.m. EST so you won't miss a thing. From personal to policy, we'll make sure Speaker Gingrich answers questions that are on moms' minds -- we'll be asking questions from the CafeMom community and The Stir readers. You can also watch our interview streaming online right here.
If you can't tune in, we'll have a video of the entire event for you to watch on Saturday, December 31, over at CafeMom's Moms Matter 2012.

No.
Gingrich would get zero attention on CM except that having him as the Republican nominee would only ensure that Obama will end up Prez again.
We know the gameplan.
Go Romney.
It's so sad that people can reject the opportunity to watch interviews with the candidates. We are so fortunate to have such extensive vetting going on this campaign cycle. If Obama had gotten even a fraction of the scrutiny the current candidates are getting, we probably wouldn't be in the situation we're in now, with an incapable man running the country off the cliff while claiming he's doing a great job.
No matter the outcome of the nominations, I am for anybody but Obama!!! Newt and Mitt are not my favorites, but I would pinch my nose and vote for either of them over Obama!!! Obama has been a disaster to our economy and our Republic!!!
I would take this more seriously if the moderator wasn't Frank Luntz. That guy isn't just a pollster, he is also a conservative strategist. Who better to ask Gingrich a tear jerker question about his mother? This whole charade is an insult to our intelligence.
