senior citizen flash mobWhat's slow-moving, low-energy, a little bit tedious but 100 percent heart-warming? If you guessed a senior citizen flash mob in a Kansas Target, you're correct. It's in the running for the cutest thing you'll see this season (those kids in Alaska are up there, too) and if this doesn't make you smile, it's possible you're dead inside.

The fun-loving elders don't let those pesky walkers get in their way of a spontaneous-yet-well-planned dance party. They get down to Glee's cover of "Last Christmas" like it could be their, well, last Christmas, and they don't care who knows it. Prepare to (slowly) rock out!

And prepare to be inspired call your grandma after this because you'll want to let her know how awesome you think she is. And how you think she should quit the garden club and instead take up flash mobbing.

The woman in charge here seems to be the sexy lady in the gray-green top, black slacks, orthopedic shoes, and a heart around her neck -- she really takes the energy level up from a two to a solid three. There's a lot of hand-waving, an inordinate amount of hot pink walkers, and a ton of smiles. I wish God loved me enough to have let me be at that Target when this all went down because my goodness it looks like a barrel of fun.

I hope this is just the beginning of old folks flash mobs. Forget the knitting classes and water aerobics at the retirement homes; let's turn our respected geriatrics into  flash mob fiends!
