1. He Was Adopted

Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955. His biological parents, Joanne Carole Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali (an immigrant from Syria), were both 23 and unmarried University of Wisconsin graduate students at the time of their son's birth. The couple gave the baby up for adoption. Jobs was raised by Paul and Clara Jobs, who had been married since 1946 but were unable to have children of their own. Paul Jobs was a high school dropout who worked as a machinist; Clara Jobs was an accountant.

No delete button. Bad example..but a similar coined term for beauty around the same time knock out was used. Sorry..I stick my foot in my mouth like that frequently.;? No disrespect intended.
