The Jig Is Up: Seychelles Is Royal Honeymoon Destination

Nicole Fabian-Weber

william and kateHave you been missing the royal couple? Sad all's been (sort of) quiet on the Kate and William front? I know I have. So, thank God the newlyweds just left for their royal honeymoon in Seychelles, and we can talk about them once again. And exhale ...

Taking off on a private jet yesterday (man, Kate, you really scored), it's been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess landed in Seychelles late last night. There are reports that they were then transferred by helicopter to a private island, where they're expected to spend 10 days in a secluded villa ... doing naughty newlywed things. Queen Elizabeth, cover your eyes!

What I'm wondering -- and I'm sure you are too -- is: A) Are they really in Seychelles? B) Where the hell is Seychelles?

As far as I'm concerned, this could just be a red herring to throw us off. I mean, why on earth would they let their honeymoon plans leak to the world? Don't they want some privacy after 700 billion people watched them wed? A little alone time? And wasn't it only a few weeks ago that they were supposedly going to Australia? Hmm ... guess we'll just have to wait for the super-sleuth paparazzi pics to confirm or deny. Or we can all board a plane to Seychelles right now and find out for ourselves. I like that plan.

As for question B, well, I know no one wants to sit through a geography lesson, so, real quick -- Seychelles is an archipelago made up of 115 islands located in the Indian Ocean to the north of Madagascar. See? That wasn't so painful.

Whether William and Kate are there or not, I think we can all count on one thing: Seychelles is about to see a serious boom in tourism. And it could totally start with all of us right now. Come on, let's go!

Do you think the royal couple is honeymooning in Seychelles?
