Oh, Bristol Palin, didn't you learn anything from your Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin? Anything at all?
Bristol rather publicly spurned her mom's abstinence message by turning up 17 and pregnant during Sarah's Vice Presidential run in 2008.
And now you won't believe what Bristol did last week to publicly defy her high-profile political mom again.
Bristol Palin did not vote in Tuesday's election. That's right. Did ... not ... vote ...
Young Palin told Inside Edition she forgot to send in her "absentee ballot in Alaska. I'm going to be in trouble. Sorry, Mom!"
So not only did she forget to vote, the importance of which her mom surely taught her, but she announced her non-voting forgetfulness on national television. Really, Bristol? You couldn't have just let the little mishap slide under the radar? You had to tell the whole world? Announcing it is a little like, In your face, MOM!
Just like back in 2008.
On the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Meghan McCain, political columnist, author, and daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, took the opportunity to ridicule Bristol for her mistake, "I guess it's only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing With the Stars."
Ooooh, sizzle on you, Bristol!
Meghan went on to to say more importantly, "I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote. Anyone that doesn't vote is just ridiculous."
Do you think it's ridiculous that Bristol Palin didn't vote? Do you think she's rebelling against her mom or just wrapped up in her current celebrity status?
