After Joy Behar's recent "bitch" session yesterday directed at Sharron Angle, I might have to amend my list of 50 most sexist comments on the campaign trail.
The View host repeatedly called the Nevada Republican Senate nominee a "bitch" for releasing a political ad she perceived as racially charged:
Come here, bitch. Come to New York and [run this ad] ... I am not praying for her. She's going to hell. She's going to hell, this bitch.
Angle responded to this attack with a cheeky retort of her own ...
She sent Behar a flower arrangement with a note saying, "Joy, Raised $150,000 online yesterday. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Sharron Angle.”
Political leanings aside, you've got to hand it to Angle -- that's a pretty classy comeback. Sometimes the best way to deal with a bully is to kill them with kindness. But this bully kept on going ... Behar used the sassy gesture as the perfect opportunity to unleash another tasteless rant:
I would like to point out that those flowers were picked by illegal immigrants and they're not voting for you, bitch.
Now, women's groups like The New Agenda are calling for Behar to apologize -- to both Angle and American women in general -- for using the b-word as part of the national dialogue.
Angle's political ad is arguably offensive, but Behar should have taken the high road and attacked the video's content while leaving the politician -- and specifically her gender -- out of the discussion. Using words that specifically demean women no matter how angry you are is never okay.
Who do you think is the bigger "bitch": Behar or Angle?

Completely agree. Never liked the show, but they all, but especially Joy and Whoopi seem all about getting attention and ratings by being ugly and rude to their guests. Definitely will not be watching The View anytime soon, especially after hearing about this.

WOW. Pretty classless of Behar...
I agree that Joy Behar should have stuck to attacking the politics and refrained from calling names. I'd pretty much stopped watching The View and after this I doubt I'll watch it again.
While I'm not a fan of Angle ( and hope to god she doesn't get elected) I think it was pretty rude and disrespecful of her to say that. She is one of the main reasons I will not watch that show.
Honestly, why is this show even on? I don't know anyone who will admit to watching it. But someone must be, because it's been on forever.
Behar hands down.
I don't like The View! I would rather watch Sid the Science kid!
Funny how no one watches this show its been on for what? 10 11 yrs now LOL! someone is watching it....^^^^^^^^^
I don't watch The View because of her. I don't like her. I don't see the point in name calling. Again, why can't people agree to disagree without being rude to each other.
