Five people were killed early Saturday morning in a shooting at the City Grill restaurant in Buffalo, N.Y. Among the dead was a man from Texas who was in town celebrating his marriage.
Two other men and two woman died as well; and three more males were injured, according to ABC.
"Something started inside, either some type of argument, some type of dispute," Buffalo police spokesman Michael DeGeorge told ABC. "Whatever started inside, it spilled outside and that's when the shootings started."
A suspect is in custody.
"There were good people there and s***heads," a police source told The Buffalo News, referring to people at the event.
More than 100 people were in attendance at the wedding-related event. While details are still sparse, it sounds like the couple, originally from Buffalo, got married in Texas in the last year, but were in town to celebrate it with family and friends. A bigger celebration was set for this afternoon.
The bride wasn't injured, and I can't even imagine what today is like for her.
Many thoughts and prayers for the families of everyone affected who is grieving on what was supposed to a joyous day.
