Stephanie MillerStephanie Miller, liberal pundit and radio host of the Stephanie Miller Show, had a surprise statement for her fans this morning: "I am a gay woman." While Miller had been out to her friends, family, and co-workers for years, she's remained in the closet professionally.
Miller says she couldn't discuss issues like DOMA, DADT, and Prop 8 “authentically" without also disclosing that she's gay. She credited lesbian country singer Chely Wright -- who was a guest on her show -- with inspiring her to come out.
Miller is the daughter of the late attorney and congressman William Miller, who was Barry Goldwater’s running mate in the 1964 presidential election.
Stephanie joins the ranks of these hot "lipstick" lesbians that guys can now only fantasize about:
Country Music Singer
Portia De Rossi
Actress, Photographer, and Ellen DeGeneres's Ex
Do you think it's important for political pundits to come out professionally so that they can better discuss issues? Or is sexuality a private matter?
