6 'Solutions' for Dealing With the Oil Spill

Suzanne Murray

John Clarke and Brian Dawe of the 7.30 Report present their satirical take on the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and offer six "solutions" for dealing with it.

I love British humor.

To recap, the 6 solutions are:

  1. Underestimate the problem. (You don't want people to panic.)
  2. Acknowledge the magnitude of the problem but point out that it's certainly not BP's fault.
  3. Drop an underwater shopping center over the hole.
  4. Offer to help with the cleanup.
  5. Pump mud into the hole.
  6. Blame the President.

Sounds about right.
