These Glass Bubble Chandeliers, as seen over on Re-Nest, are so incredibly elegant. It's hard to believe it's a do-it-yourself project!

ReadyMade Magazine featured the chandelier project, originally designed by Jean Pelle, in the Feb/March 2009 issue (here's a PDF of article).

You can DIY your own pretty chandelier with these Bubble Balls from CB2, some cables, cotton twine, and some other materials, adding up to about $75.

Or, you can buy this chandelier in three sizes from Jean Pelle's Etsy shop, but these will cost you between $375 and $850. Love the tall size chandelier! Wow.

Are you brave enough to take on a DIY project like this?
