Homemade holiday cards with family photos — they're so easy and fun to do these days with all the web photo card shops!

Was just reading my new copy of Downtown Chic, the lovely design book, which was given to me by Cortney and Robert Novogratz of Sixx Design. There's lots of good stuff inside (take a peek after the jump), and I really love their creative homemade holiday cards.

The Novogratz family, which includes seven children, does an updated, full of flair family photo each year and sends it out as their holiday card. The Novogratz's even call this "an annual family project," which makes the whole annual holiday card thing seem a lot more fun and personal to the family — as opposed to mom ripping out her hair and cursing, which is what tends to happen over here.
