Hee hee. This is good fun. IKEA Heights is a super-silly web soap opera, secretly filmed inside a Burbank IKEA store.
IKEA Heights is directed by David Seger on Channel 101. I love its over-dramatized acting and dialogue and how they play up the "store as set," rather than ignore it.
James walks into a hanging price tag, as he runs "home" from "work," meaning he runs from the office displays to the bedroom displays. The unsolved mystery is a string of IKEA pillow smotherings. And the Detective gets lost trying to find his way around the IKEA maze to a clue cause, uh, who doesn't get lost in IKEA?
Anyway, I think it's pretty funny — not to mention so very sneaky.
Episodes 2, 3, and 4 are available too.
