I love these modern-style raised dog dishes as seen on ...love Maegan. The brand is Replus and as of now you can't get them online, but I found some similar alternatives...
Vets sometimes recommend elevated feeders for pets who have digestive issues or back/leg issues that make it difficult for them to bend over. You can buy affordable raised plastic feeders from most pet stores, but I did a little sleuthing for some "fancy" ones just so we can dream a little...
I'm liking the clean butcher block-style of this Elevated Dog Feeder Pair from Andrewsreclaimed, $55.

And these Asian-style Pet Feeders ($65.99-$83.99) from Trendy Pet don't even look like pet feeders. In fact, they look nicer than the plates I eat off of!

Do you have elevated feeders for your pet(s)?

Um I REEEEALLY want those in the first picture...those look so nice. It says they were only $36 and you can't get them online!! aghh! I'm going to pout now. :(
If you like country style you can take an old wooden chair and cut a hole in the seat about the size of your pets bowl. Not too large that the bowl falls through, but enough to "seat" the bowl so it won't scoot off the chair. Of course it depends upon the size of your dog. And with my saints we also have to have a dropcloth under the chair.
Easy to make.. hmmmm this has got me pondering some options! What came to mind was those unfinished wood stools you can buy at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or JoAnnsfor around $8.00 (and with hobby lobby's 40% off coupon, even less..) and all you would need to do is cut the circle for the bowl out and paint/stain it whatever color to match your decor. I might do this! the dogs eat in the laundry room but our big beautiful bella has hip problems and I hate to watch her bend over to eat..
wow those are super expensive! i got one for the cats made out of metal with ceramic bowls for about 7 bucks at ross.
i agree with the make your own idea!
I want the asian ones!
Oh wait, I don't have a dog...
