make throw pillows prettier

When I saw this pillow I fell in love, but then I found out it wasn't for sale. But the gorgeous felt flower corsage is.

At $38 it's a little bit too expensive for me, but it has inspired me to make a little something of my own.

I went to an amazing flea market this weekend and bought some inexpensive, but very pretty vintage brooches, which I used to adorn my sad-looking throw pillows. They look so lovely now, and when I tire of them I can use the brooches for something else.

Do you have any easy, cheap ideas for sprucing up throw pillows?
