Stylish Baby Gates: Would You Invest In One?

6

Why can't all baby gates be as sleek and sophisticated as this beautiful Numi Extended Wooden Gate? Oh, right, because this one costs $117, that's why!

Oh well, I still dig the look don't you? And, at least I can dream...

It does look nice but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on something that I'll only need temporarily... that and I don't have a fancy home to merit the necessity of a classy baby gate :oP

I don't think I would have spent that much money on one myself but I would have loved it if there were more choices in baby gates when my kids were little!

I love the pretty baby gates, I would totally buy them if I had more money.  I hate it when the house is all clean and looks really nice and then out of the corner of my eye I see the big plastic gates.  Ugly.

Even if I were rich I would not spend that kind of money!! I know a nice baby shop in the city that have all sorts of pretty ones for 40 bucks! We don't need a gate now maybe in our new house.

Yes I would if we had the money... my son is 4 and DD is 2.. that means I've had baby gates in my house for 4 years, and will continue to have them for another 1 or 2... I like putting one at the end of the hallway, even though they can knock it down... at least then I HEAR them enter the kitchen, lol!

And... considering we've gone through at least two of the cheap plastic ones, and two of the wood ones over those 4 years.. and all of those are about $25 a pop, we've already spent over $100. For a functional, strong gate? Yeah its worth it to me! If I were to rewind to two years ago I would have invested in one of those bad boys in a second!

The other thing that came to mind is people who use them to corrall dogs... it would be nice for that, too... because a dog lives 10-16 years... so why not invest in something functional AND beautiful

I'd buy one. Most baby gates that are ugly cost almost as much anyways. All baby gate prices are way too high if you ask me.
