Vacuum, Sweep, Mop...How Often Really?

I figured that out too. I used to be VERY neat, tidy, clean, and organzing. Had my first child...kinda let loose, but now having 2 toddlers, I am lucky if I get to pick up everything TO vacuum and all.

I have to vacume every other day with three toddlers! I mop once a week, thats good with me and do dusting and what not once a week

We're pretty clean and tidy -- except when it comes to vaccuuming. I'd rather do anything else in the world of household chores. Anything. Laundry. Dishes. Cleaning the bathtub. We have dark wood floors and dark rugs, so we can get away with not dragging it out too often!

I have to do these chores every day. my twins were supper premie, like 15 weeks and so I have to stay on top of the cleaning. But I do it all at night after everyone has gone to bed, to make sure that the dust and crap son't fly around the girls. And I use all natural products with no cemicals, 80 % of the time

I vacuum everyday.  I have dogs that come inside and my hubby is allergic so our deal is if they are allowed in I vacuum to try to keep the pet dander down.  This includes the carpets, couch, love  seat, and his recliner.  Sweep I have five kids so sweeping is a daily things and mopping is every couple of days more depending on how often the kids and hubby spill stuff on the floor.

Opps, I cheated. I didn't notice the three catagories... I never vacuum!! We don't have rugs or carpets!! (I didn't much anyways when we did)  I do have to sweep everyday which I hate. We have hard wood floors in our rental house and a two year old and a dog. If I don't sweep everyday we would be knee deep in who knows what!  I have to mop everyday too because our dog isn't potty trained at all.  Who's idea was it to have indoor pets anyways!?  However, I do two kinds of mopping if that makes a difference.. swifter and mop and bucket. I would love to let it all go... but... even when I got through the house scrubbing it my *lovely* husband will make some comment that it is time to mop the house again. I don't think he understands I do it EVERYDAY!!

Hello my name is Indianamom & I'm a slacker...I blew up my vacuum a couple of weeks ago and haven't replaced it, I did borrow the neighbors last week when I rearranged the furniture...LOL.  I don't do any of these things as often as I need to just seem to run out of time!

Indianamom don't feel bad, I'm a slacker too! I just can't get it all done in one day, I would be crazy! I'm lucky to get everyone dressed, and feed some days....LOL I should do these things more often. Everyone seems to be surviving ok so far :-) I think as my kids get older and can help more it will get done more often. I will confess that I sweep everyday, but the rest gets done a couple times a week.
