No space for a garden?
That excuse may become obsolete with Window Farms—DIY vertical gardens that can be grown in apartment windows!
The Window Farms project is still in the prototype phase. But rumor has it that this model (right), which is a drip system made from recycled water bottles, has successfully been growing beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, arugula, basil, lettuce and kale.
Once experimentation has been completed, how-to instructions for building your own Window Farm will be available on the official Web site—most likely later this summer.
I think this is awesome. Would you garden if you had more space?
