Two great Cheap Wall Art ideas to share for your Weekend DIY.
1) This fun and very simple DIY idea comes from valenciamom who posted a "how to" for Framed Scrapbook Papers over in the Mom's DIY ReDesign! Group (must be a CafeMom member to view).
valenciamom writes:
"You can buy inexpensive frames at your local discount store and frame the papers in any theme en masse. I framed nine Heirloom papers in black frames with white mattes that cost about $12 each."
I'm not even a scrapbooker, but I'm OBSESSED with pretty scrapbook paper. Hooray! Now I can indulge, right?
2) I found this DIY tutorial for making Fabric Wall Art via Domino Mag's Daily Dose Blog. This is a great idea if you have extra fabric laying around or if you find a piece you simple love to look at.
