Three plants
Grow your own fresh air at home with three basic plants. That's right.
Over in TED Talks (TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design), a lineup of incredible lectures, listen to researcher Kamal Meattle discuss how to grow your own fresh air. He explains how three common houseplants (Areca Palm, Mother-in-Law's Tongue, and Money Plant) can be used in our homes and offices to measurably increase cleaner indoor air.
So glad I bought a Mother-in Law's Tongue plant just the other day. They're great looking plants and convert CO2 to oxygen at night. Sounds like I need several more around here to do a thorough air cleaning though...

Nothing on Money plant
I have the second two already. ;)
Well, did. Killed the "Money Tree." I wish I could remember it's actual name.
But as the other ladies pointed out, you have to be careful about toxicity. Because I DO have a cat, the "Mother in Law's Tongue" is where my cat can't get it, and any leaves that fall off don't fall within her reach either.
