The folks over at Scotch-Brite sent me some samples from their new line of Greener Clean products to try out in my kitchen.
Here's what Scotch-Brite's new Greener Clean products have to offer:
- The soap loaded scrubbers are made from recycled plastic bottles and filled with biodegradable soap
- The non-scratch scour pads are 50% natural agave plant
- The non-scratch scrub sponges are 50% natural agave plant (scrubbing side) and made from 100% natural materials, including recycled paper (sponge side).
- The expanding soft sponges are biodegradable and made from 100% natural materials
These are some wonderful eco-friendly features and all the scrubbers and sponges I tried worked really well too. I really loved the non-scratch scrub sponge, which is crazy absorbent and almost feels like a real towel (no kidding!). The new Scotch-Brite green line also offers awesome-looking absorbent cloths, made from 60% bamboo, that would make a great alternative to paper towels.
Even though it's taken most American companies too long to make such green advances, I always appreciate a company who offers up products made from organic and earth-conscious materials.
