Before you start to think I *like* housework or something, I just wanted to get something straight.
Housework is just no fun.
I know I talk about cleaning a lot lately on this blog (a lot more than I actually clean, believe me), so I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I definitely feel cleaning house is one of life's necessary evils. Gotta do it! But don't gotta like it!
I quoted a bit of Carol Channing's timeless classic "Housework" last week, but all this chipper talk about spring cleaning demands a listen today or—if you grew up to the soundtrack of Free to Be...You and Me like I did—a re-listen. It's a great track for kids too!

i remember this song...........in fact, i have that album, free to be you and me.........i love the song " william wants a doll"..............LOL.........thanks for the memories!
i think everyone agrees with that. CHores, especially the ones that have to be done over and over and you get the idea. Heres an idea. I myself am a housekeeper by profession, I clean hospitals, I clean motels/hotels, I clean aptartments before the new tenants move in.
This is what I know, I am obsseive compulsive about cleaning other peoples things. I go to a friends house, and while I hangout I end up washing the dishes or folding clothes or taking out trash, just little things because I know it will make them feel good and I sure wish someone like me would do it for me.
Everyone reading this. try this. have a bud agree to try this with you.
*pick a day have her/him come over turn on music and do One room, or one AWFul (to you) chore that you put off. Get 'er DONE! with there help and probly motivation to push you. then later that day, or Another day. Go to there house and Do chore/ room with them. this time you be the motivator.
YOU both will feel much better, and like working out. Find Its EASIER and *gasp* fun with a friend.
