Have you seen IKEA's gorgeous fabric by the yard? Mmmmm. So yummy.
And only $5.99-$7.99 a yard for these picks.
I suppose I better stop drooling over it and starting learning how to sew.
Oh, but look at it. It's so delicious....mmmmm....
I think I'll stare just a little bit longer.

hehe I did a blog about this a few weeks ago.. I ADORE IKEA fabrics. They are really nice to work with, they are cotton, but they are heavier weight than quilting fabrics, so they work really well for a multitude of products.
I am thinking about starting to make some big slouchy totes out of some of the fabrics, I just have a hard time because the closest IKEA is an hour away!! boo!! lol heres my IKEA fabric blog.. http://luminousboutique.blogspot.com/2008/11/ikea-fabrics-and-why-they-rock.html
I wish I knew how to sew!
I love IKEA's textiles, but I wish they'd sell fabric that matched their furniture. There's a chair that has fabrics I want to make curtains out of.
Jmum- you can order it by calling IKEA's 1-800 number. Not all, but most of their fabrics for upholstery can be bought by the yard - perhaps not in store, but most of the time they can get it for you. We had a spill on one of our ikea chairs and we got a yard of replacement fabric from them so I could re-upholster the chair. The shipping was expensive, around $17.00 but it was worth it!
ikea fabric is adorable, time to dust off the old machine!
