People are Calling This Viral Pink Inflatable Coffin a 'Big Summer Mood'

Well, if you were wondering how 2018 could get any stranger then you're in luck! A pink inflatable coffin now exists and it's the perfect mixture of disturbingly morbid and millennial summer goals. Apparently pool noodles and giant donut floats just aren't cool enough anymore.

  • The viral pool floaty was created by Canadian designer Andrew Greenbum.

Andrew shared a photo of the sample on Instagram and explained that he has wanted to do this project for years. He wrote in his caption:

"Had the idea to start this project almost three years ago, with my guy @ian__felton. I found someone who could make me a sample recently and pulled the trigger. Super hilarious project. Truth be told thou, we about $15,000 short from being able to sell this to ya’ll. Let us know if you think a kickstarter would be a cool idea or if you have a rich daddy who wanna invest. We taking suggestion no doubt for sure."

  • And it seems like he has plenty of people willing to invest in it!

  • People on social media are calling it a "big summer mood."

  • However, with something as ... interesting as this, things can get really dark really fast (despite the neon pink material).

Maybe this isn't the safest idea?

  • There are some people who are already OVER IT.

  • And some who are just trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

It appears there are many ways to interpret a giant pink coffin floaty.

  • Maybe we'll just stick to a regular pool floaty for now.
