Beyonce & Jay Z Score a Swanky Baroque Mansion in New Orleans (PHOTOS)

Facade of Beyonce's house

Looks like Beyonce and Jay Z have a new hive: a converted church in New Orleans' Historic Garden District. The one-of-a-kind, three-story mansion was built in 1925 and was once home to a Presbyterian church and a ballet school. With 22 rooms and 13,000 sqft, it seems there's plenty of room for the family of three to make music together. It reportedly sold to the power couple for $2.6 million.

The home's Spanish Baroque architecture and 26-foot high ceilings are bringing the drama, and the non-traditional floor plan means lots of creative living spaces. Talk about good bones! It features a main residence, three apartments, and a rooftop garden. The new address puts Bey and Jay right off the main Mardi Gras parade route and in close proximity to Beyonce's sister, Solange. The new home is on Harmony Street, so it must be perfect, right?

Beyonce and Jay Z's new house has an eclectic history. How would you feel about living in an old church?
