I redecorate for Spring by getting my gardens cleaned out / replanted and bringing out the colorful and light bedding / couch blankets. My house is already mostly light turquoise, orange and grey with lots of Springy accents! I know it's Spring when I can leave the windows open all day.... love it.

I prepare the house for my daughter's summer break by getting out all the "outside" toys and things. :)

We just bought our first home in November so I am super excited about preparing for spring. Doing some spring cleaning and putting in flower beds, setting up a patio, and building a play area/sandbox for our 2 year old son. Also washing all the windows to let the glorious sunlight in. We are slowly doing the décor room to room as it is, but so far I've switched out snowmen for floral arrangements and cinnamon scents for clean linens and tropicals.

I'm lucky enough to live in a beautiful rural area with tons of spring flowers and blossoming trees...I bring in fresh sprigs of cherry blossom and forsythia, daffodils and tulips...

I love to put out pastel pillows and a wreath. I'm kinda boring, but it makes me feel good to just open the windows and let the fresh air in!

I redecorate for spring by first taking down the heavier winter draperies and putting up sheers, then I added new throw pillows I sewed myself in 3 different coordinating patterns/colors to add intetest to the room and finished with a cool swirled glass coffee table sculpture and some spring scented candles in place of the cinnamon and pumpkin ones we had!
