Think you've most definitely heard it all? Trust me ... you haven't. Until today, that is. A woman in Virginia is so obsessed with all things gingerbread, she recently had her home turned into a gingerbread house.
No, I'm not kidding. And honestly I can't decide if I wish this was a joke or not.
Tamara Holland has spent the last five years making the inside of her house look good enough to eat. Every aspect of her home's decor is somehow related to gingerbread. Heck ... she even has a life-sized gingerbread doll she refers to as Ms. Ginger. (Which is just weird.)
But her sugary abode wasn't quite complete until her daughter had the exterior of the place painted up and decorated to look like something straight out of Candy Land.
Check it out.
Wow. I'm not really sure what to say. At first when the video kicked off with her talking to Ms. Ginger -- I was a little bit worried and borderline creeped out.
But then I saw her burst into tears after seeing her home's sweet transformation, and I couldn't help but be happy for her. I mean, gingerbread is obviously something she's extremely passionate about -- so why shouldn't she have the dream house she desires?
More power to her for finding joy in something the rest of the world probably sees as crazy and ridiculous.
If you could have any theme for your home, what would it be?
