Some of us revel in spending hours detailing the perfect place cards, using stamps and ink, cool paper, and umpteen thousand kinds of embellishments. But let's face it: doing that for a busy Thanksgiving dinner kind of interferes with actually making Thanksgiving dinner.

Internet to the rescue!

The wonderful thing about the Internet is that if you have a need, someone can meet it. In this case, beautifully designed place cards that you can print out with a simple click of the mouse.

Here are five of my favorites from around the web.

Classic Turkeys -- Her name is synonymous with artful homemaking, so it was almost inevitable that Martha show up on the list. And to her credit, these turkey place cards are gorgeous.

Use them in a formal way, with a silver holder, or use them with a gilded pine cone or wine cork -- the beauty of these is that they will work for your style, no matter what it is.

Modern Acorns -- These are so simple, but the added touch of the swirls lends it a bit of elegance at the same time. The harvest colors are perfectly on trend -- but will probably work with everything you already have at the same time. And of course, acorns (and nuts of all kinds) are huge this fall, so if you’ve decided to decorate with acorns or chestnuts, these cards might be just perfect.

Cute-o-Rama -- A smiling acorn, plump turkey, joyful pumpkin, ear of corn, and leaves make up this super-fun and totally cute place card set.

These would be perfect for the kids’ table!

Pair them with a make-it-yourself pine cone turkey kit to keep them happy and occupied while dinner is served.

Vibrant Vintage -- From one of my favorite sites comes this entire Thanksgiving package. There are, of course, place cards. Also included are napkin rings styled after vintage cigar labels, a favor box, and photo card. There are also several printables just for the kids, like fold up toys and coloring pages. The toymaker has thought of everything!

Modern & Elegant -- The astoundingly creative Kira and Abigail have provided not one, but two designs. And it’s not just place cards. They’ve shared beautiful designs for menus, favor boxes, and other decor details. The Modern Folk collection is an updated folk art look, while the Elegant Table line is made up of gorgeous swirls, botanicals, and old-fashioned etching illustrations.
