Matt Damon's Miami Beach mansion looks like SO MUCH FUN. Seriously, could I love this guy any more? Well, maybe if he handed over the keys to his pad!
Listed at $20 million dollars (a wee bit over my budget), this mansion has the most amazing views. You just have to read on to see the incredible place for yourself. All together now: O-- M-- G!
DO YOU NOT WANT TO GET IN THAT POOL RIGHT NOW?
It also has a SUMMER KITCHEN, which is just about the coolest thing ever. You know, so your regular kitchen doesn't get all hot when it's hot out (which is like nine months out of the year in Miami). Casa Casuarina, as it's called (your house totally has a name, right?), is the place formerly known as Gianni Versace's digs. The designer reportedly poured $35 million dollars into it, restoring things like the gold mosaic in the 54-foot pool and amazing art and architecture all over the house. As you do.
So anyway, Matt Damon's incredible mansion is listed by South Florida’s luxury real estate team, The Jills (Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber) of Coldwell Banker Previews International. The Jills only deal with the highest of high-end real estate. (Needless to say, they did not sell me my house.)
With plenty of room for your kids, and your friends, and your friends' kids, Damon's casa has seven bedrooms, a two-bedroom guest house, and nine-and-a-half BATHROOMS. That's right, people. There are more bathrooms than bedrooms, which is how I like my houses. There's also a private master-suite terrace, a beautiful courtyard entrance, a rooftop terrace, and, obviously, a home theater. I wonder what room Matt keeps his Oscar in?
Here's a little video tour, which features shots of downtown Miami, so, you know, you can see what kind of neighborhood you'd be getting yourself into:
"Anyone who buys this property, it's instant celebrity!" promises one of the Jills in the video. Yeah -- because I'd be famous to getting caught robbing a bank to try to pay for it!
What amenities would your dream house have? (Beside Matt Damon making coffee in the summer kitchen, of course...)
