I've always thought that if you were so lucky as to reside in the White House, any home you inhabited after that would be kind of a letdown. Chelsea Clinton's new digs, however, are anything but a letdown.
According to the New York Post, the former first daughter and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, recently purchased a $10.5 million apartment in New York's Flatiron district, and it's stunning.
It's located in a fancy high-rise building called The Whitman, and it's almost 5,000 square feet. Now, it is New York, and real estate prices are sky high, but this place sounds like it's worth every dime
The listing from Douglas Elliman Real estate reads:
... four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a home office and den, and stunning direct Madison Square Park views. This apartment also boasts a 252 square foot planting terrace and a private storage unit is included with the residence.
There are plenty of amenities too including a full-time doorman, residents' only gym, key locked elevator with private elevator landings, and a refrigerated package room.

So, there's no private bowling alley or Oval Office, but it sounds pretty comfortable to me, especially for just two people. With four bedrooms, I'm thinking there's plenty of room for more, and perhaps news of pitter pattering little feet will be next. We can hope anyway.

What do you think of Chelsea Clinton's new apartment?

wow!
What does her husband do for a living? 'Cause she ain't making that kind of money. Or did her parents help buy it, giving her money while begging others to pay off their legal debts?
I think she is living the life of a 1%...which is odd because I thought only evil old white republican men lived that kind of life.
