Ok, so this probably (maybe) isn't anywhere close to being true, but we're going to go ahead and entertain the thought anyway, m'kay?
Wait for it -- Kate Middleton may be forced to live with Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry's new girlfriend, at Kensington Palace. Here's how the roommate deal will supposedly go down. When Prince William and Kate move into their new, lavish apartment at the Palace, Prince Harry will turn their old digs into a "love nest" of sorts for him and Cressida and they can all reside together in a compound as one big, happy family.
OMG. If you were Kate Middleton, would you honestly warm up to the idea of your brother-in-law and his flavor of the month shacking up on the same premises as you, your husband -- and your newborn baby?
(Um, I don't think so.)
Honestly, I can't think of anything worse than having your younger, party-hardy in-laws all up in your grill when you're trying to adjust to life as new parents.
And forget about the new baby thing for a minute -- I'm not sure having family members as direct neighbors is a good idea in the first place. Sure, it's nice if they're in the same town so you can get together often and support each other and all that good stuff -- but would you really want your sibling living right next door?
Hold on, don't answer that. This is Prince Harry we're talking about, and I'm thinking he's probably a pretty cool dude to hang around with. I'm not sure about Cressida, but I'd be down with borrowing a cup of sugar from Harry for sure. (And I'm sure he keeps the wine chiller well stocked too. Score.)
But I gotta go with my gut on this one -- I highly doubt this report is true. And if by some chance it is, something tells me there's no way Queen Elizabeth will let Harry move his girlfriend onto royal territory, or at least not anytime soon. (The nude Vegas partying scandal was embarrassment enough.)
Would you ever want to live next door to a family member?
