How often do you see a furniture piece at a garage sale and think it's cool but not quite right? Well, believe it or not, it's pretty easy to take those outdated pieces and turn them into something stylish with only a little bit of time, a few cans of spray paint, and some other inexpensive supplies.
Andee Dodson shows us how she spruced up a yard-sale hallway table in the latest episode of Make It Fabulous. Check out the video below to see her work her magic!
The most interesting part was that she etched a new pattern into the glass top of the table. Etching cream is readily available at craft stores, and it's surprisingly easy to use (keep the kids away, though!). Your results are limited only by your creativity. The rest was pretty easy: just add a little spray paint on the base and the wood frame where the glass rests, and voila! An instant update.
