What initially appeared to be nothing more than a rebound romance after his split from Demi Moore is really starting to look like something serious, especially since there's a rumor that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are buying a home in Chicago together.
According to a new report in In Touch, Ashton and Mila are hoping to relocate to the Windy City in order to get away from "the hustle and bustle of Hollywood."
Gee, can you blame them?
If they're hoping to have any sort of a "normal" life together, then Hollywood definitely isn't the place to do it. With the paparazzi lurking around every corner, it's not as if L.A. provides any sort of privacy for celebrity couples, so it's totally understandable that they'd want to live in a place that's a bit more unassuming.
Of course, just as quickly as this story came out, Gossip Cop talked to a source close to Mila Kunis, who said the rumor isn't true, and that she and Ashton are not purchasing a home in Chicago.
Hmm. Since Mila and Ashton haven't come right out themselves and said whether or not they're picking up a new Chicago pad, I guess there's still a chance that they may wind up being Windy City residents. And honestly, if they don't have plans to pack up and move there, they should seriously consider it.
First of all, it's a sports-lovers paradise, and obviously they're both huge fans of the Chicago Bears, so they can take in games together whenever they want. Second, Chicago is pretty much midway between L.A. and New York City, so commuting back and forth for work will be a cinch if it's their home base. And third, there's the whole "living their lives like a normal couple" thing. If they are really serious about making their relationship work, getting out of the spotlight is probably the best thing they can do.
(And with their combined bank accounts, they can probably snag one-heckuva penthouse with sprawling views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan, which is one more huge plus.)
Do you think Mila and Ashton should move to Chicago?
